Strategic Meeting in Lamu: Advancing Blue Economy Projects and Industrial Development with H.E. President Dr. William Samoei Ruto's Support

In a recent development, a courtesy visit was paid to the Governor of Lamu County, Hon. Issa Timamy, by representatives from PS Investment, Abubakar Hassan, and PS Blue Economy, Ms. Betsy Njagi. The purpose of the visit was to discuss and prepare for the commissioning of Blue Economy Projects in Lamu County by H.E. the President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto.

During the meeting, various key projects were brought to the table for consideration. Among them was the development of Lamu County Aggregation and Industrial Park, a significant initiative aimed at boosting economic activities in the region. Additionally, plans were discussed for the launching of a cotton ginnery in Bahari Ward and a cashew nut factory in Hindi Ward, both of which hold great potential to uplift local communities and contribute to the growth of the region's economy.

The visit served as an important platform for stakeholders to align their efforts and collaborate toward the successful implementation of these crucial projects.
