Kenya Japan Business Forum 2025
The State Department for Investment Promotion, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and KEPROBA, held the Kenya-Japan Business Forum 2025 yesterday, at Serena Hotel, Nairobi. Over 33 companies from Japan and 80 private companies from Kenya attended the forum. The companies were representatives from various sectors, such as Manufacturing, Mobility, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Infrastructure, and Renewable energy. The expected output will be business collaborations, partnerships leading to increased investments and job creation.
PS Investment Promotion said that, Economic diplomacy with the aim of broadening and deepening investment and trade relationship is our agenda. He had accompanied CS Mvurya and PS Singoi during Kenya Japan Business Forum in preparation for the World Expo 2025 in Osaka and 9th Tokyo International Conference on Africa Development in Yokohama 2025. The business forum provided a platform for our domestic investors to seek partnership with Japanese investors led by Japan State Minister of foreign affairs to explore and exploit investment opportunities along pillars of our economic transformation agenda.
